  • Pre-Op Coaching and Advocacy

    Do you have questions about your upcoming surgery? Do you need help preparing yourself and your surroundings? A LaVida nurse will help you prepare for your forthcoming surgery by providing education and assessing your needs. With this approach, your path to recovery will have already begun. This includes a home visit to assess safety and adequate preparation.

  • Pre-Op Coaching + Dr. Visit

    A LaVida nurse will accompany you to your pre-operative doctor’s visit. She will listen, advocate, and be right by your side. No question will go unanswered, and you will leave feeling safe and confident. All post-operative instructions will be reviewed. This includes a home visit to assess safety and adequate preparation.

Post-Operative or Recovery Selections

    Tuck Me In

    This is ideal for a client who needs 4-7 hours of recovery nursing care to get settled in after surgery or hospitalization. This is the minimum selection offered.

    Make Me Comfortable

    This is ideal for a client who needs 8-12 hours of private recovery nursing care. This is intended to help you feel calm and comfortable after surgery or hospitalization.

    Rest and Recovery

    This is ideal for a client who needs 13-40 hours of recovery nursing care. This selection is intended to help you get settled, comfortable, calm, and rested after surgery or hospitalization.

Enhanced Strength and Recovery

This is ideal for a client who needs 41+ hours of recovery nursing care. This selection is intended to help you get strong, rested, comfortable, active, and knowledgeable after surgery or hospitalization.

Private Care Nursing Packages Include the Following:

  • Transportation after surgery to clients accommodations

  • Following physician orders and communication

  • Vital Sign Monitoring

  • Pain Management and assessment

  • Medication pickup and administration, including injections

  • Wound Care and Drain assistance

  • Bathing, Dressing, and Grooming

  • Light Meal Preparation and Housekeeping

  • Education

Ala Carte Selections

These Selections are for clients who wish to have specialty nursing visits or transportation-only services. Our registered nurses will personally transport you from your surgery location and help you get settled into your home or hotel safely and privately. You may also use this for transportation to follow-up visits.

  • Transportation

    We will pick you up from your surgery location and bring you safely to your home.

  • Wound Care and Drain Care Visit

    A registered nurse will come over to assess your wound and provide dressing changes. Also included is education on drain care.

  • IV Fluid Therapy

    We will provide IV fluid therapy for rehydration and wellness in the comfort of your home.

  • Injection and Medication Visit

    A LaVida nurse will come over to administer medications or injections for you in your personal surroundings.
